The financial statements of the Misr National Steel Company – Ataqa showed an increase in its profits in the first nine months of 2021 by 244% on an annual basis.

The company stated in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange that it achieved profits of 65.74 million pounds in the first nine months of 2021, compared to profits of 20.24 million pounds in the comparative period of 2020.

The company’s sales rose in the period to 1.7 billion pounds, compared to sales of 1.26 billion pounds in the comparable period last year.

The Misr National Steel Company – Ataqa achieved, in the first half of 2021, profits of 94.02 million pounds in the first six months of 2021, compared to profits of 19.67 million pounds in the comparative period of 2020.

The company’s sales rose in the period to 1.3 billion pounds, compared to sales of 956.82 million pounds in the comparable period last year.
