The trophy for the best Algerian non-hydrocarbon exporting company for the year 2021 was won by the company Tosyali Algeria, specializing in the manufacture of iron and steel, reports the APS agency this Monday, June 27, 2022.

This trophy is awarded by the World Trade Center Algiers (WTCA), which organized the award ceremony for this 19th edition in Algiers, on the evening of Sunday, June 26, 2022, in the presence of the adviser to the President of the Republic in charge of Economic Affairs, Younes Ould Moussa, the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, and several business leaders and heads of various organizations.

The General Manager of Tosyali Algeria, Ibrahim Elciboga, indicated after the ceremony that the company he heads aims to reach an export volume of 1.4 million tonnes in 2022, with an export turnover of $1.2 billion, adding that the passwords in Tosyali Algeria are: “Globalization, investment and sustainability,” to increase exports and integration.

Mr Elciboga also mentioned the flat steel production Complex project, which should “be operational in May 2024 for a production capacity of 2 million tonnes/year to meet the demand of local operators and also to export “.
