Arab Iron and Steel Union awards the Arab Steel Industry Man Award to Eng. Ahmed Ezz

The Arab Iron and Steel Union honored Eng. Ahmed Ezz after he was chosen as the “Arab Iron and Steel Industry Man of the Year 2017.

The reasons for awarding the award, announced by the Secretary-General of the Union during the opening session of the Arab Steel Summit held in Amman yesterday, in the presence of the Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade, stated that Eng. Ahmed Ezz is “a pioneer of the iron and steel industry in the Arab world and founder and president of the largest steel group.” and non-governmental steel in the Middle East and North Africa, and contributed and contributes to the support and development of the iron and steel industry in the Arab world for more than 25 years until his company became a model for what private sector institutions should be in the country, and Ezz Steel Group has a second The largest direct reduced iron production capacity in the world.
