According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in May this year Turkey’s wire rod exports decreased by 54.4 percent year on year to 104,439 metric tons, up 84.9 percent compared to the previous month. The revenue from these exports amounted to $45.52 million, up 80 percent month on month and decreasing by 61.6 percent compared to the same month of 2019.
