The Beshay Steel Factory announced iron prices in Egypt on 1-11-2022, an increase of 1700 pounds per ton, according to what the factory announced, provided that the new prices will be applied as of the first of November.

For his part, Moheb Shafiq, a building materials trader, revealed in exclusive statements to Al-Mal that the Beshay Steel Company announced an increase in the price of its rebar in Egypt for the month of November.

Shafiq Bishai pointed out that the price of a ton of iron for the border governorates and Upper Egypt is about 100 pounds higher.

It is noteworthy that the prices of iron today in Egypt differ according to the companies that manufacture it according to the quality produced by the company, and this difference is subject to the name of the company that produces iron, and the prices announced by iron factories are the delivery of factory land, and they rise with merchants by 200-300 pounds.

An official source at the Chamber of Metallurgical Industries attributed the increase in iron prices in Egypt to factories once again, after its stability over the past 3 months.
