Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – Kizad Group signed a preliminary agreement with Dana Steel Company, the leading manufacturing unit within the Dana Industrial Group, to establish the first industrial complex for the production of cold and hot rolled steel, in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Under the terms of the agreement, Dana Steel will make significant investments to develop an industrial complex in Kizad on an area of 50,000 square meters. The new complex contributes to the integration of the company’s business and benefit from its continuous operations in the lines of galvanizing and painting iron, with a production capacity of 500,000 mt of rolled.
The new business approach will enable Dana Steel to enhance its production capacity in the GCC region by substituting new local materials bearing the “Made in UAE” logo, instead of imported ones such as cold rolled coils.
