Experts and workers in the real estate sector in Abu Dhabi confirmed that it recorded outstanding performance in 2022. Explaining that the demand for buying and owning real estate in 2022 has increased significantly. Thanks to the vision of the wise leadership, initiatives and economic packages, and golden residency granting, along with the confidence of residents and foreigners in the economy and its ability to recover early from the effects of the pandemic.

They mentioned that the real estate development companies succeeded in promoting and marketing the housing units in their projects that they launched in Abu Dhabi quickly and within a record time, which encouraged these companies to launch more qualitative real estate projects to meet the continuous demand.

Experts pointed out the importance of offering housing units at prices that suit a vast segment of the public, especially those with high and middle incomes. In addition to launching flexible payment offers over longer years without resorting to banks, which encouraged large numbers to buy and own.

They reported that Yas Island, Saadiyat Island, and Al Reem Island were among the most significant areas that witnessed a demand for buying and owning residential units in them, as they are among the investment areas in which foreigners can own property. They expressed their belief that the real estate sector will continue to achieve important performance in the coming year in light of the continued demand for buying and owning housing units in the qualitative projects offered by real estate development companies.
