Engineer Muhammad Salah El-Din Mustafa, Minister of State for Military Production, inspected the Abu Zaabal Company for Engineering Industries (Factory 100 Military), and affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production, accompanied by a several officials from the Ministry and the National Authority for Military Production.
Where the Minister of State for Military Production was briefed on the executive position of the ongoing and planned projects to be implemented by “Abu Zaabal for Engineering Industries”. He also inspected the production lines within the company, pointing out that it specializes in meeting the needs of the armed forces of various calibers for heavy and medium guns, fast-construction storm bridges, special steel and its modern products of Armoured steel. It is considered a strategic product that represents the basis for manufacturing combat and defense equipment such as armoured vehicles and tanks.
Pointing out that the company is characterized by the availability of production lines comparable to international production lines and trained workers at the highest level.
Emphasizing that the Ministry seeks permanent development and investment in labour, training them on the latest manufacturing technologies, and giving young people the opportunity to assume leadership positions.
He also stressed the importance of cooperation between young people and those with expertise to develop the company’s performance, stressing the interest of the Ministry of Military Production to localize the latest manufacturing technologies in production lines inside its subsidiaries to increase the local component and achieve benefit to the national economy. In addition to striving towards achieving self-sufficiency in vital industries, including, for example, armoured steel produced with more than one thickness to avoid any ban on its supply that may be imposed by foreign producing parties.
