Brazil’s iron ore exports will be $2.9 billion to Arab countries in 2022

The Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce announced that Brazilian exports to the Arab world achieved the highest record revenues since 1989, amounting to $17.74 billion in 2022, while the value of Brazilian imports from Arab countries amounted to $15.03 billion.

The value of Brazilian exports to Saudi Arabia increased from $2.07 billion in 2021 to $2.92 billion in 2022, recording a growth of 41.26%. At the same time, the value of exports to the UAE increased from $2.32 billion in 2021 to $3.26 billion in 2022, achieving a growth of 40.1%. In addition, Brazilian exports to Egypt grew by 41.2%, reaching $2.84 billion in 2022 compared to $2.014 billion in 2021.

The same applies to the State of Qatar, which recorded a growth rate of 45.33%, bringing the value of exports from $284.26 million in 2021 to $413.13 million in 2022. The State of Kuwait recorded a significant increase by 56.91%, bringing the value of exports to $303.9 million in 2022, as its value was $ 193.66 million in 2021.

According to the report issued by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, most exports to the Arab world were of sugar cane or beets. Solid sugar, with a value of $3.44 billion in 2022, followed directly by meat and edible poultry waste, fresh and frozen, as the most exported goods with a value of 3.16. Billion dollars. In addition to iron ore and its concentrates with a value of $2.9 billion, corn with a value of $2.01 billion, soybeans with a value of $1.1 billion, and frozen beef with a value of $805.64 million annually.
