Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and President-designate of the «COP28», concluded a two-day visit to the People’s Republic of China. H.E. held a series of meetings with Ding Xuexiang, the First vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China. Zhao Chenxin, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, Huang Runqiu, Chinese Minister of the Environment. Xie Zhenhua, China’s Special Envoy for Climate Change, Dr Zhang Jianhua, Head of the China National Energy Administration, and several officials and those concerned with the economy, energy, and climate action.

Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber met several Chinese business and industry leaders. H.E. called for reducing emissions investment from the industrial sector and said, “Steel, cement, aluminium, energy, and manufacturing are among the world’s vital sectors, so we cannot stop using them. Therefore, we must find a way to make it more sustainable.”
