Within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the member companies of the Arab Iron and Steel Union, the General Secretariat of the Union organized a visit for a delegation from SIDER El Hadjar Complex Algeria to the Mineral Holding Company in Egypt to enhance cooperation between the two companies.
The Managing Director of the Mineral Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, Eng. Mohamed El Saadawi reviewed the activities of the company and its subsidiaries and ways to expand the scope of cooperation and integration between the Holding Company and SIDER Complex in various fields with ferroalloys, refractories, iron ore, and coke.
Mr Ouchiche Lakhdar, President and General Manager of SIDER Industrial Complex, also reviewed the activities of the Complex and its subsidiaries and ways to enhance cooperation between Algerian companies and Egyptian companies and activate the integration between Arab countries in various fields.
Mr Larbi Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIDER, also presented the most important points of the Algerian iron and steel industry in general and SIDER El Hadjar in particular, and ways to benefit from the Holding company’s products.
It was agreed upon the desire of SIDER to import raw materials of iron alloys, coke and refractory products from the Holding Company within the framework of concluding Arab-Arab cooperation agreements between SIDER and the Holding Company.
