The Council of Arab Economic Unity held yesterday its fifty-fourth meeting of the Arab unions specialized in work quality, which was organized by the Council of Arab Economic Unity, in the presence of the leaders of the Arab unions specialized in quality.
The Arab unions’ periodic meeting dealt with achievements and recommendations made at the fifty-third periodic meeting during the previous phase and their action plan in the next one.
The agenda of the meeting also involved the views of the Arab unions specialized in improving their performance, in addition to discussing the memorandum of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Economic Unity to strengthen and activate cooperation between the Arab unions in developing the human resources through training and contributing to improve the performance of the Arab economies through specialized seminars and conferences.
The meeting discussed the vision of the Arab unions in dealing with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the role of the private sector in contributing to achieving the goals of sustainable development 2030.
It is worth noting that the Council of Arab Economic Unity is based in Cairo, headed by the Secretary-General, Mohammadi Ahmed Elni.
