Mahmoud El-Feki, Chairman of Delta Steel Company, said that the company has completed the implementation of the first phase of energy development to 250 thousand annually, which is 5 times the production before development of 50 thousand tons, to be followed by the second phase to reach 500 thousand tons annually, the volume of production doubled 10 times.
Al-Feki explained, in an interview with Masrawy, that the company completed a huge project in record time, operating last month, indicating that the development project will stop the company’s losses in the fiscal year, and it is expected to achieve profits for the year.
Delta Steel is a public business sector company, one of the largest and oldest steel companies in Egypt, and has been operating since 1946 – but has suffered for years from successive losses.
