The main hall in the administrative building of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company hosted the activities of the third workshop on the results of environmental research studies that were held in the vicinity of the company, under the auspices of the Misurata Municipal Council.
The workshop started with the first morning session during which four research papers were presented by an elite group of people interested in the environmental field on air pollution, dust and marine pollution, and then the second session was with four other papers on soil, solid waste and plant and animal diversity.
The workshop was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Environment in the Government of National Unity, the Dean of the Misurata Municipality, the Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, and a number of senior guests and specialists in the field of environment. The workshop concluded with a number of recommendations.
