Tosyali Algeria expects exports of $ 700 million of steel products this year, with a growth of 600% compared to 2020.

This came, according to what was stated by a member of the board of directors of Tosyali Algeria, Alp Topsyoglu, to the official Algerian news agency.

Topsyoglu explained that these exports represent 6 times what has been achieved in 2020. “With the slight decline in sales in the local market due to the effects of the Corona pandemic, the company has pushed to focus efforts towards exporting products.”

Tosyali Algeria has exported its products to three destinations, namely Europe, America and countries in West Africa, according to the agency.

Note that the company was launched in 2013 in the state of Oran, through three phases, between a complex of private Algerian companies and the Turkish company Tosyali, and it entered the production phase in 2017.

Last year, its production amounted to 2.23 million tons of various steel products.

It employs about 3 thousand and 800 workers, and the company covers a major proportion of the local market’s needs in terms of iron and steel products, especially rebar.
