Eng. Eid Muhalal, Managing Director and CEO of the Egyptian Ferroalloys Company of the Ministry of Public Business Sector, revealed that the export file is one of the most important files the company is interested in within the framework of the state’s plan to maximize the volume and value of locally manufactured exports to ensure that there is an additional value.

Eid Muhalal added that about 35,000 tonnes of ferroalloy products were exported to the European Union during the first months of this year from Egypt, especially since Egypt’s products are globally competitive; explaining that the high price of the metal in the world is one of the ways to increase the revenues of Egyptian companies.

Regarding the visit of the Japanese delegation to the company, Muhalal indicated that the Japanese delegation from Tomoe Company is currently visiting the company to find out the stages of the silica dust production that has been exported to the Japanese company since 2020 for five years, explaining that about 9000 tonnes are exported annually. The delegation followed up by itself the production process in the factories, accompanied by Nubi Rizk, Vice-President of the General Syndicate for Metallurgical and Engineering Industries, and many leaders, where he previously met the Chairperson of the Metallurgical Industries Holding, Eng. Muhammad Al-Saadawi in his office.

For his part, Eng. Khaled Elfeky, a member of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries and head of the General Syndicate for Engineering and Metallurgical Industries, praised the exports increase, whether from the Alloy Company or the Misr Aluminum Company, as well as from Nasr Mining, which maximizes companies’ revenues and their contribution to providing hard currency.
