Egypt: Extending duties on steel imports from Turkey, Ukraine and China for a year

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has issued Resolution 324 of 2022 extending the validity of Ministerial Resolution n° 1535 of 2017, imposing definitive anti-dumping duties on dumped imports type: bars, coils, poles and rods, originating or exported from China, Turkey or Ukraine for five years ending June 5, 2022.

And based on the report of the Advisory Committee held on May 12, 2022, and the memorandum of the Head of the Commercial Processing Sector, dated the same date, the first article decided to extend the provisions of Ministerial Resolution No. 1535 of 2017, imposing final anti-dumping duties on dumped imports type: rebar “bars, coils, poles and rods,” originating or exporting from China, Turkey or Ukraine for one year from now “until the completion of the review procedures, and the new decision shall be effective starting from June 6, 2022.
