Human Development
Human resources are the creative energy in the Arab steel industry that is capable of developing this industry. It is natural that it always needs continuous training to hone its skills. Since its inception, the Federation realized that introducing advanced technologies in most steel companies in Arab countries and applying the latest international systems requires raising the efficiency of workers in this field as ongoing. Therefore, the Union was interested in entering the field of human resource development and rehabilitation. Accordingly, the Union conducted studies in this field, the aim of which was to limit the training centers in Arab steel companies, the capabilities available in each center and the field of specialization for those centers.
AISU has prepared a set of training programs in each specialization to serve the iron and steel industry and its associated industries. AISU has played a distinguished role during the past many years in preparing a set of training programs in all areas of the iron and steel industry for engineers, technicians, administrators and workers in the field of production, maintenance, organization, planning, management, health, occupational safety and industrial security, which benefited thousands of workers in Arab steel companies.
