- introduction :
Within the framework of the objectives of the Arab Iron and Steel Union seeking to build bridges of cooperation between universities, Arab research centers and steel factories in the Arab world, the Union announces the opening of nominations for the best Arab scientific research in the field of iron and steel for the year 2024 and invites all researchers from universities, institutes, research centers and specialists from Iron and steel companies in the Arab countries to provide scientific research that works within the scope of developing the iron and steel industry in the Arab world.
- Specialization Fields :
The Arab Iron and Steel Union grants appreciation awards for research that will have an impact on the development of the iron and steel industry in the following areas:
- Processing and raising the concentration of iron ores in Arab countries.
- Low cost iron and steel production technologies.
- Increasing the efficiency of steel production operations.
- Green steel production.
- Increasing energy efficiency in the iron and steel industry.
- Pollution reduction and recycling technologies.
3 - لجنة تحكيم وتقييم البحوث :
تم إنشاء وتكوين لجنة لتقييم البحوث مكونة من اساتذة من جامعات ومراكز بحوث عربية متخصصة في صناعة الحديد والصلب.
- Nomination conditions:
- The researcher must hold an Arab nationality.
- To be registered in one of the Arab universities or research centers or one of the Arab iron and steel companies.
- The research may be presented individually or collectively, provided that
- the principal researcher is identified.
- To adhere to the research submission deadlines announced below.
- Search conditions:
The research must be produced by the researcher and has not previously received an award.- The research must contain a new scientific addition and not be quoted or repeated.
- The research must be submitted in Arabic or English and presented in Arabic.
- You must adhere to the topics specified above.
- The number of research papers must not exceed 20 A4 pages and be written systematically using Word, font size (14), and font type Simplified Arabic.
- The references used in the research must be mentioned.
- How to submit the research:
- The first step: Registration through the Federation’s website (www.aisusteel.org) with the following attachments:
CV of the researcher or principal investigator of the group.- A copy of the passport or ID card.
- A document proving his affiliation with the entity (university – research center – company).
- A letter of encouragement for the research from (the university – the research center – the company)
- Explaining the idea of the research or the problem that he wants to address through the research, provided that it does not exceed one page, size A4, and is written in a systematic manner on the Word program, font size (14), and font type Simplified Arabic.
- The deadline for registration is March15, 2024 at 24:00 GMT
- The second step: The General Secretariat and the arbitration committee study the nomination files for the competition, and all applications are responded to with approval or rejection until March 1, 2024, as the deadline.
- The third step: Send the final copy of the research to the email: [email protected] until September 1, 2024 at 24:00 GMT while adhering to the research conditions.
Warning: The General Secretariat can contact the relevant authorities to ensure the accuracy of the data sent.
7 - خطوات تقييم البحوث من لجنة التحكيم :
تجميع البحوث حتى يوم 01 سبتمبر 2024- ارسال البحوث الى أعضاء لجنة التحكيم.
- تقييم البحوث.
- استلام نتائج تقييم البحوث يوم 01 أكتوبر 2024 كآخر أجل.
- ترتيب البحوث بصفة مؤقتة حسب الدرجات واعلانها على الموقع الالكتروني في انتظار قمة الصلب العربي الـ 17 – الدوحة – قطر ، التي يتم من خلالها عرض البحوث ، وتصويت من طرف المشاركين في المؤتمر لاستكمال عملية التقييم وتسليم الجوائز.
- The deadlines :
March15, 2024: Deadline to send for registration.- April 01, 2024: Sending approval or rejection to the candidate.
- August 15, 2024: Deadline for submitting the research.
- September 15, 2024: Announcing the three winners on the website in no order and sending an email to the winners.
- October 14, 2024:
Presentation of the three research papers by the winners during the 17th Arab Steel Summit – 2024.
Vote on the best research by participants in the 17th Arab Steel Summit – 2024 to complete the evaluation process.
Announcing the final ranking of research and award distribution.
