AL SOLB (formerly SIDER EL HADJAR) is a Public Economic Company (Entreprise Publique Économique), organized as a joint-stock company with a share capital of 25,368,388,040 DZD. It is part of the SIDER Group, a subsidiary of SNS Holding, and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry.
Founded in 1964, AL SOLB’s core activity is the production and marketing of steel products through the conventional blast furnace route, sourcing iron ore from the Boukhadra and Ouenza mines. The company produces semi-finished flat and long products, including slabs, billets, and ingots, as well as finished products such as coils, steel plates, reinforcing bars, and seamless pipes.
