Rebar prices in Egypt ranged this week between EGP 33,500 and EGP 37,000 per ton.
Major producers recorded clear price increases compared with last week. The price of Ezz Steel rose to EGP 37,000 per ton, up EGP 2,800, while Suez Steel increased to EGP 36,500 per ton, posting a similar gain. El Marakby Steel also climbed to EGP 36,300 per ton, an increase of EGP 2,300.
Meanwhile, Egyptian Steel was priced at EGP 36,500 per ton, up EGP 2,500, while Ashry Steel reached around EGP 36,000 per ton, also up EGP 2,500. Garhy Steel rose to EGP 35,750 per ton, marking an increase of EGP 2,350.
In contrast, Beshay Steel recorded a price decline, with the ton falling to EGP 33,500, down EGP 500 compared with the previous week.
Other producers continued to post increases as well. Misr Steel rose to EGP 34,000 per ton, up EGP 3,000, while El Komy Steel climbed to EGP 34,800 per ton, an increase of EGP 3,800. El Ola Steel reached EGP 33,500 per ton, up EGP 2,800, and Al Gioshy Steel increased to around EGP 34,000 per ton, a gain of EGP 3,000.
