The Iron and Steel Mines and Quarries Company achieved sales of EGP 156.75 million in February. Sales from the Bahariya Oasis mines in January reached EGP 156.69 million, and sales from the Beni Khaled quarries in Samalut reached approximately EGP 57,970.
The profits of the Iron and Steel Company for Mines and Quarries increased by 110% during the first half of the current fiscal year, reaching EGP 154.9 million, compared to EGP 73.8 million during the same period in 2023. Revenues also increased during the six months to EGP 312.5 million, compared to EGP 167.2 million during the same period in 2023.
The Iron and Steel Company for Mines and Quarries exported its first shipment abroad in late November, and work is underway to load the export products during December. Export shipments reached 150,000 tons, comprising three export shipments.
