In July 2025, exports reached 50,673 tons, marking a 55.8% decline compared to June, but a 15.1% increase year-on-year, according to preliminary data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In terms of value, export revenues in July stood at $29.55 million, down 54% from the previous month, but up 10% compared to the same period last year.
During the first seven months of 2025, Turkey’s total wire rod exports amounted to 579,729 tons, up 1.2% year-on-year, while their total value fell by 5.3% to $334.48 million.
Regarding export destinations, Romania ranked first with 221,251 tons, followed by Bulgaria with 41,743 tons, and Libya in third place with 39,556 tons, while the United Arab Emirates ranked tenth with 11,046 tons.
