The Libyan Iron and Steel Company announced the start of exporting 10,000 tonnes of hot-briquette iron (HBI) from the company’s port. The company indicated that the export operations would take over successively, bringing the shipped quantity to 64,000 tonnes during the coming period.
At the same time, according to the General Manager of Marketing, Eng. Walid Biblo, an agreement has been reached between the company’s external marketing department and several foreign companies to export (72,000) tons of reinforcing steel to various countries of the world. The first shipment of this agreement is expected to be shipped at the end of January, its quantity is (12,000) tonnes, provided that the remaining quantities will be exported sequentially during the first week of next February.
As the export operations continue at a distinguished pace to various countries of the world, the company’s port is witnessing a tireless movement, which confirms and consolidates the stability process that the company is experiencing in exporting its products to various continents of the world in the current period.
