Egypt National Steel profits rise by 133% in 2022

The financial statements of Misr National Steel Company – Ataqa- revealed an increase in profits by 133.69% on an annual basis.

The company stated to the Egyptian Stock Exchange today that it recorded a net profit of EGP 234.72 million in 2022, compared to earnings of EGP 100.44 million in 2021.

The company’s sales rose over the past year to EGP 2.48 billion compared to EGP 2.36 billion in 2021.

It is worth noting that Egypt National Steel – Ataqa – achieved profits amounting to EGP115.5 million from January to the end of September 2022, compared to profits amounting to 65.73 million pounds in the comparative period of 2021.

The company’s sales rose during the period to EGP 1.99 billion compared to EGP 1.7 billion in the comparative period of last year.
