According to statistics, South Korea’s imports of rebar amounted to about 342,900 tons during the first eight months of this year, a decrease of 21% compared to the same period last year.
Among these imports, imports from China accounted for the largest share at 53.7%, with an annual increase of 20.3% to about 184 thousand tons.
Japan ranked second with a share of 44.6%, with approximately 153 thousand tons, a decrease of 38.3% annually.
