Brazil’s iron ore exports in the first half of 2021 rose 15% year-on-year, according to data released Brazilian Mining Institute IBRAM.
The institute said that Brazilian iron ore exports in H1 this year amounted to 167.1 million mt, an increase of 15% compared to same period of 2020, which amounted to 145.4 million mt.
In terms of value, Brazilian iron ore exports reached $21.5 billion in H1 this year, up 126% year-on-year while Brazilian iron ore exports totaled $9.5 billion in the same period of 2020.
