Dr. Wael Youssef, Managing Director of the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, revealed that the Delta Steel Mill will launch the new digital transformation project next month, pointing out that the plan of the Ministry of Public Business Sector for digital transformation and mechanization of work systems in affiliated companies is being implemented using the latest information technologies and global digital standards. Wael Youssef explained that the Delta Steel Mill witnessed a great development to raise their production capacity to 250,000 tons annually, in addition to continuing development and modernization operations to raise capacity to 500,000 tons annually and increase the capacity of foundries to 10 thousand tons, according to the ministry’s plan.
