Egyptian Ferro Alloys Company
The Egyptian Company for Ferroalloys is one of the giant companies affiliated to the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries. The company’s factory was established to be the nucleus of the largest integrated industrial center of a specialized nature, the electro-metallurgical processing of mineral ores in electric reduction furnaces to produce ferrosilicon alloys and other alloys required to feed the iron and steel industry on a global and local level. The factories were built in Edfu / Aswan governorate overlooking the Great Nile River on the one hand and on the other side overlooking the Edfu Temple – with its great pharaonic monuments to combine the greatness of the past with the present technology.
