Meanwhile, the total revenue generated from these exports was $197.44 million, up 43.2% compared to May and down 49.8% year-on-year.
From January to June of this year, Turkey’s exports of rebar amounted to 1.40 million tonnes, down by 54.4% compared to the same period last year, while the total revenue generated from these exports amounted to $944.11 million, down by 60.3% compared to the same period. from last year.
The largest Arab countries importing reinforcing steel from Turkey during the first half of this year was Yemen with a volume of 292,764 tonnes, a decline of 26.2% compared to the same period last year, and Syria with a volume of 29,437 tonnes, a decline of 28.2%.
