Egypt’s steel exports increased by 189% in the first ten months of this year to record $1.49 billion, compared to $560 million in the same period last year 2020.
According to the report of the Export Council of Building Materials, Egypt exported to 80 countries, the most important of which was Spain, which came first with a value of $369.5 million.
The report stated that Italy came in second place with a total of $365.2 million, followed by the United States with a value of $158.5 million, followed by Saudi Arabia and Canada with exports of $109.4 million and $80.3 million, respectively.
