State Company for iron and steel, a company of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, invited the state ministries, especially the Ministry of Oil, to purchase the spiral pipes produced in its pipelines plant with a capacity of (200) thousand tons / year.

The general manager of the company, Mr. Abbas Hayal, indicated in a statement to the media office in the ministry the necessity of activating the work of the pipelines plant due to its industrial importance and because of its high capabilities and capabilities to meet the Ministry of Oil’s needs of spiral pipes with internationally approved standard specifications.

Emphasizing the reluctance of the state ministries, especially the Ministry of Oil, to buy spiral pipes and not to abide by the contracts that were previously agreed upon, revealing at the same time the imminent completion and operation of the longitudinally welded pipelines production line in the Pipes Factory in partnership with a private sector company to meet the Ministry of Oil’s requests for this type of pipe Thus, the company will be able to cover the local need of spiral and longitudinally welded tubes with the required quantities and specifications.
