Egyptian rebar mills keep local offers stable for May, but show flexibility in deals
Egypt is like other countries taking all their measures to fight the pandemic.
However, some mitigation was taken to bring trade revivals in the country, but demand in rebar, for instance, remains weak. Therefore, suppliers, who are very conscious about the situation, provided some very special offers for contracting companies such as Ezz Steel and Suez Steel.
In the other hand, the construction sector is on the move, but just for mega projects.
As for Official rebar offers are standing at EGP 9,400 10,214/t ($522 567/t) EXW in Egypt compared to EGP 9,500-10,214/t ($527-567/t) EXW from key mills a month ago, comparatively unchanging.
Prices in EGP comprise 14% VAT; those in the US dollar do not.
Currency rate is $1 = EGP 15.79, unchanged over the month.
